Players without a profile picture now get a colourful avatar with their initial instead of a grey circle. Guest players use the new avatars too, and the bot appears everywhere in its new design.
The public tournament link now shows far more than live scores: results, rankings and averages, the full knockout bracket and match details. The view adapts to phone and tablet and supports both light and dark mode.
The web view now shows only the games currently at a board or coming up next at one – instead of all games.
When creating a club tournament, participants can now be linked to an existing Dartcom account instead of always creating a new one.
Online and local games now ask for the number of darts at the double consistently and correctly. A 2-dart finish no longer triggers an unnecessary extra prompt.
For 1- and 2-dart finishes the checkout path is now shown in the right order – the first dart to throw appears on the left.
The maximum dart count can now be changed even after a tournament has been created or started.
The leg’s starting player and the current thrower are now clearly distinguished.
Values in the statistics are now cleanly rounded to two decimal places.
The list of completed tournaments now defaults to the last month and loads much faster. Older tournaments are still available via the time-range filter.
The “connect tablet to club” option now appears only on tablets, where it makes sense – it is hidden on phones.
In the tournament settings the section is now labelled “Specials”, consistent with the rest of the app.
In the tournament view you can now refresh the bracket, tables and games with a pull-to-refresh gesture.
When the maximum number of darts is reached, a simple “who won?” selection now decides who landed closest to the centre – instead of a full scored bull-off.
Tournament drafts can now be deleted (with a confirmation) and then disappear from the overview. Board settings are also visible and editable in a draft again.
The roadmap link in the community section now goes straight to our public board, where you can view suggestions and vote on them.
When tracking darts at the double is turned off, the app now asks how many darts were needed when you type in the remaining score directly. Per-leg averages and short legs in the feed are correct again – even without double tracking.
